Inventories

Inventories are simple object-by-object lists of Native American human remains and associated funerary objects cared for in a museum or collection. The Inventory is separated into two types of lists:
1. All Native American human remains and associated funerary objects that are identified as “culturally affiliated.” This means these ancestors can be reasonably culturally affiliated with a present-day Tribe or Hawaiian organization.
2. All Native American human remains and associated funerary objects for which no cultural affiliation could be determined, or “culturally unidentifiable.”
