Publications are public announcements describing human remains, funerary objects, sacred objects, or objects of cultural patrimony that are in the control of a museum or federal agency, along with a written declaration of the museum’s decision on disposition. These are referred to as “Notices,” and are published in the Federal Register, a daily publication of the United States government.
